Overview

Form is defined as the shape of something. In terms of design, form refers to the way that things are arranged and organized. When we talk about form, we are referring to how objects relate to each other. This can include the size, shape, color, texture, and placement of elements.

Space is the distance between two points. In terms of design this means the amount of empty space around an object. Space is used to create balance and harmony in a composition.
